In 1974, the Lincoln Property Company (later known as Linpro) purchashed the 300 acre Robert's Farm for $5.5 million. Robert's Farm was a tract Evesham Township desired to purchase and preserve under the Green Acres program, however could not receive funding. Greentree Village is a Planned Unit Development consisting of residential areas, recreation facilities, commercial and office sites centerd around the intersection of Route 73 and Greentree Road. Construction began on the first sections of Greentree Village in 1977 and the development was completed in 1986.

   The Country Squires section taken in July, 1985 during its construction. This was one of the last sections of Greentree Village to be built.

   Some redevelopment has taken place at Greentree Village. In 2016-17, a section of Greentree Executive Campus was redeveloped into The View at Marlton.
